Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026. Standard terms for vehicle recovery and transport.
1. Agreement to Terms
By booking or requesting vehicle recovery, roadside assistance, or transport services from RECOVER ME GRIMSBY LIMITED (Registered in the UK • Company number 17281145), operating as Recover Me Grimsby, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service.
2. Services & Callouts
While we make every effort to arrive within estimated timeframes provided during callouts, arrival times are estimates only and can be affected by traffic, road conditions, and weather. We reserve the right to decline a recovery request if we deem the environment or vehicle condition unsafe for our operators.
3. Customer Responsibilities
It is the customer's responsibility to:
- Provide accurate descriptions of the vehicle's location, state (drivable, steering locked, flat tyres, etc.), and key details.
- Ensure they are legal owners of the vehicle or authorized agents representing the owner.
- Ensure the vehicle is accessible and clear of obstructions for loading.
4. Payment & Cancellation
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the recovery or transport service unless credit terms have been formally agreed in advance. We accept major card payments and cash. If you cancel a recovery request after our operator has already been dispatched to your location, a dispatch fee may still be charged to cover travel costs.
5. Liability & Damage
All vehicles are transported under full transit insurance. However, Recover Me Grimsby is not liable for minor pre-existing bodywork issues, mechanical faults that deteriorate during recovery, or losses resulting from delay. Any alleged damage during loading or transit must be reported to our operator immediately before unloading.
6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued request of our services after updates are made constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
